At Mastercard, I focused on building robust engineering infrastructure and optimizing deployment tooling. My work centered around providing the team with deep visibility into enterprise deployments while concurrently streamlining their delivery timelines.

Key Contributions & Impact

Release Tracking Platform

  • Full-Stack Development: Designed and built a comprehensive release tracking platform from the ground up using React for the frontend and Spring Boot for the backend. The application provided critical real-time monitoring capabilities for microservice deployments across multiple staging and production environments.
  • Backend & Database Optimization: Engineered scalable backend services relying on Oracle DB, while strategically integrating Caffeine caching. This implementation significantly reduced data retrieval latency and improved overall data consistency under heavy analytical loads.

CI/CD Automation & Velocity

  • Pipeline Parallelization: Restructured existing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows using Jenkins. I successfully automated and parallelized the deployment processes for 4 distinct microservices.
  • Cycle Time Reduction: This architectural improvement to the build and release pipelines drastically reduced the total release cycle time by 50%, noticeably accelerating engineering delivery velocity across the organization.

Agile Collaboration

  • Functioned as a core contributor within a strict Agile environment, collaborating directly with cross-functional teams. Regularly translated technical requirements into actionable tickets and engaged in fast-paced iterations to ensure consistent feature delivery.
